Started working on my BLUE TO GREEN Floor-Standing Smart Garden Logbook. I created a new two page layout per system being tracked (see the AG Farm PDF download to get an idea, but I’ve made changes). I’m focusing on the AeroGarden Farm, the larger Click & Grow systems (and their licensee, Ermonix), Gardyn’s systems, Hope Innovations systems, IGWorks iHarvest system, Juice Plus’ Tower Garden systems, Just Vertical’s systems (still not sure about including the ECO Living Green Wall), Lettuce Grow’s systems and Rise Garden’s Rise Garden and Loft (although the Loft seems to be a single level Garden turned vertical, think three stacked Personal Gardens).

Due to the two page layouts, I now have an end of section page for each cluster of systems, single pages that I will be using to convey some hydroponic information, such as “Why fans?”, index card style information for common plants that list their seedling, vegetative and fruiting requirements for photo-period, pH, EC, VPD, etc. I have a handbook I’ve been kicking around, so I have a plethora of topics to shoehorn into eight pages.

All the systems that I have excluded from this version, will be made available as downloadable PDFs from this website. Systems such as the AeroSpring, Ahopegarden/Dryades 3L3R (66 pod) systems, Ahopegarden/Dryades 3-4L1R (90/120 pod) systems, Growell 2-3L 2-3R (54/81 pod), Growell LB 3L1R (48 pod) and a pretty common generic system, that has been relabelled by numerous manufacturers, it has four levels and one reservoir (64 pods).

I am also planning on putting a generic seed starter PDF on the website, the Kratky pages and the “Totes” pages from B2G Countertop Smart Garden Logbook.

P.S. Designing the Rise Gardens Rise Garden was a bit of a PITA. Their system can have up to three levels and each level has three decks, which can have four, eight or 12 planting locations. I think I’ve come up with a viable solution…
